Calling all women in Brunswick who are in midlife or beyond!
A women’s group is coming to offer space for women to discuss, demystify and mainstream a process every female born person will experience: Menopause.
Yet how many of us really know what this is? How many have been educated on the signs? How many of us have been taught how to take charge of our lives to optimize our health?
Here I am, a health care provider who received regular and good healthcare, and I was clueless during the years that led to my menopause transition. But it motivated me to learn and discover as much information as I could to share with you to make sure that this life change is honored and normalized, and talked about….out loud!
Please join me and hopefully many of you for a monthly women's group in Brunswick, ME. The group will meet on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning January 14, 2014 from 6-7:30 pm. The location is inside Maine Mother + Company at 54 Cumberland Street, Suite 5, Brunswick. The facility is on the first floor and easily accessible. Parking is in the lot or across the street. The cost for each session is $10. Susan Kamin is a certified nurse midwife and a sexuality health counselor. After many years of helping people give birth and be born, she is now providing personalized integrative well women care at Lifecycle Women's Health in Readfield and Brunswick, Maine. She sees people across the lifespan with a focus on care during midlife/menopause and sexual health.
