Mainstreaming Menopause: How to get the healthcare you deserve during the menopause transition
Mainstreaming Menopause is a single 75-minute health consultation visit to review your individualized health issues and give you suggestions for treatment options you can share with your primary care provider to support your health during menopause
What you will get from the consultation:
· Detailed review of your medical and family history with a focus on issues that will impact your health in menopause.
· Individualized advice and counseling for:
1. Lifestyle modifications, including but not limited to changes to diet, movement, stress reduction, sleep, and sexual health.
2. Recommended lab work and diagnostic testing.
3. Appropriate supplements
4. Guidelines for medication, including Hormone Therapy, that can be prescribed by your primary care or other health care provider.
· You will receive a comprehensive health report and plan of care after the visit that you can share with your PCP.
· You will receive a packet of the latest evidence-based information to help you fully understand menopause and to empower you to advocate for your health care needs in the conventional health care system.
What this consultation does not include:
· Ordering or follow-up of labs or tests
· Ordering of medication
· Continuity of care
Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete a comprehensive health history form and send any relevant lab work and diagnostic testing.
Cost: $250, collected at the time the appointment is scheduled, and is not refundable.
