Healthy Mind and Living: a course for women

Healthy Mind and Living: a course for women

  • Are you entering mid-life and noticing changes in your body, changes in your health, changes in your mind?

  • Are you looking for help? Have you tried remedies but nothing seems to work as well as you want them to?

  • Have you heard about mind-body connectivity, and how learning to be present and more aware may help you feel better?

  • Have you wanted to learn how to meditate?

  • Do you want to discuss common midlife women’s health issues with other women like you, in a safe, respectful, small group?

Then this is the course for you. Each class will focus on learning and practicing meditation and mindfulness exercises as well as explore health topics that are relevant to you.

The course begins on Wednesday April 10, and runs until May 22 (We will not have class on May 8) and is from 6-7:30 pm. The cost for the series is $125.

The course will be taught by me and Mary Doyle, RN, MA. Mary is a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher. Mary has a diverse background working with healthcare organizations, for-profit corporations, and is a small business owner. In 2014 she established Mindfulness to Work, providing training, coaching and leadership training based on the principals of mindfulness.
